Hey, I live in the east! and apart from a few heavyish snow showers there's
nothing on the ground now.
Although yesterday evening we had a snow shower resembling a saharan dust
storm and at 8.20pm, then there was a flash of lightning, a rumble of
thunder and off went the electricity for one and a half hours.

Regards. Len.

I echo those thoughts too, as i watch one or two lonely flakes drift
slowly past the streetlamp. Poor little things have zero chance of
settling, destined for destruction the moment they hit any surface

Being in the far west, light flurries was the max i was expecting to be
honest.

Got the remnants of the showers those greedy folk from the east have
stolen

I know it's started to settle in some parts of the country now, but
very early this morning, i read a news article that 'MOST of the
country is covered in snow' and i thought.... "WHAT !!!!!!!"

Snow-wishes for those that haven't seen any yet

I think its the case who writes these articles? Perhaps cant remember or
even born during 80's. (and YES that was SNOW! OK!) or main news items are
too weak.

Ive been watching the radar most of the day and most of the ppn has been in
the English Channel, Perhaps a boat got a good few inches and thats where
the news reports stem from

Ive see nothing (even on "other" forums) to tell me that we have had a good
"dumping" of snow. It will be hell if we all get 2-3inchs, (Thursday?) I can
see the headlines now "BLIZZARDS HIT BRITAIN" Tut. Tut.
What do our european neighbours think of us, hey...

All The Best
Gary
