Sorry I haven't had chance to report on this before.

Thanks to all who responded before I went with a forecast.

The weather was wonderful mostly sunny everyday - reached 20 oC one day.
Had a little rain on Wednesday and heavy rain on our last day Sunday. Had a
lovely white frost on Tuesday morning and the evening got really nippy!!!. A
bit cold at top of the mountains 2000m but only needed a fleece. So we
didn't see any snow ( mostly above the 3000m all week). Only saw snow on the
Kaprun glacier!!!. So it was good for the children because it meant they
could play outside and good for the driving. The view on the Sunday over the
alps, on the plane was the best I had ever experience you could make
everything out!!!. It was warmer there then in the UK.


Had a great time there - children loved swimming in the spa swimming pools
especially in the outside bit!!

We saw one property we really liked but are waiting to sell one property
here in the almost dead housing market. So we plan to move next summer. The
people were friendly and luckily spoke English since my German is coming
along quite slowly. Although we did speak to a family who spoke little
English but we a dictionary we did manage to talk about a lot of thins and
the children played together even though they didn't speak each other
language!! - but they did have the universal language of playing digging and
builders. ( which my son loves!!)
