It started snowing yesterday at 5pm and it became more persistent through
the evening. Was still snowing, with thunder and lightning, shortly before midnight. It has been snowing contiuously all morning so far and there are report of 10cm accumulation on the Downs. As it is now 2.3 Celsius I expect some melting, but if forecast are correct amounts could double in the next 24 hours or so. Richard V, Dover, 10m asl |
