Default [WR] Sleet, north Kent

Light sleet greeted me as I got up this morning and it's still falling now.

The air temperature's 0.7C, 0.4C on the grass. Patches of yesterday's snow
have somehow survived on the back lawn but they're notably smaller than 12
hours ago.

(WR refers to Leysdown, north Kent, 10m ASL)

Same here with light sleet - still dubious about the prospects of more
snow later, but the forecasts seem quite adamant about it. Despite a
rapid thaw of yesterday's snow, there's still a significant amount left
on grass and north-facing roofs, as can be seen on my webcam:

Out of interest, although I wasn't able to empty and measure the rain
gauge properly yesterday (there was still a fair amount of snow stuck in
the bucket when I last looked), yesterday clocked up 5.8mm of melt -
making that the most precipitation in one day so far this year!
