Default One of my best forecasts

================================================== ==================
This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author.
Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.
================================================== ==================

Pardon me for blowing my own trumpet but my forecast issued last Thursday is
turning out to be a real "stonker" and probably one of my best.

" On Wednesday the cold front pushes south bringing a spell of rain to all
areas followed by showers. Turning colder from the north as southwesterly
winds turn into the northwest and then north and then strengthen. Snow
showers arriving in the Scottish mountains later in the day.
On Thursday a cold northerly airstream will spread south to all areas. In
the north and east the wind will be fresh to strong but lighter elsewhere.
Wintry showers over Scotland with snow above 1000 feet. A few rain showers
in eastern parts of England but many other places staying mainly dry with
only a few showers and some southern areas turning sunny and rather cold.
Turning frosty on thursday evening.

On Friday after a frosty start with one or two wintry showers in the east,
all areas look like turning fine and sunny as a ridge pushes in from the
west. However, cloud and rain arriving in the northwest later. Turning
milder again.

The weekend looks like being changeable and mainly mild with rain at times
followed by showers. "

At this rate I'll be able to set up a Premium area at Haytor meteorological
office.

Only joking Mr Employer :-)

Well what is going to happen next week. In a word - MILD. Hope Paul Bartlett
will be OK and doesn't injure himself stabbing the high with a pair of
dividers. Hope Mr Fish is getting on well with his new boss :-)

Main forecast will be issued tomorrow as usual.

Will.

Not bad, Will, but no mention of the wave depression and associated
heavy rain moving across the south of the UK tomorrow..

As strange as it may sound, your weekly forecast is the only one worth
looking at, Will. Of the ones I can find anyway.
The BBC and METO 5 day forecasts are complete Garbage as we all know, and
those other two Clowns, well we won't go into that.
Once again, like other things, I have to rely on third party, unofficials,
enthusiasts or whatever you wanna call them to get honesty and real
information. The 'you can't touch us METO' certainly don't offer me such
credentials.
All four in the same basket as far as I'm concerned.... 'Garbage'
BTW this aint some suck up to your forecasts, more a political rant... I
don't monitor the accuracy of the 'Willcast', but I don't care, I know the
score now ;( .

Not bad Will, but it's the ones that you admit to being different to
expected and why that I most like. You won't get that anywhere else, not to
mention the probabilities.
Mind you you're only as good as your last match and pride comes before a
fall! You've now put yourself onto a Beckhamesque pedestal - waiting to be
brought down to earth.

This reminded me of something I posted back in 2001 (goodness was it that
long ago?) about this part of November being the one when the first decent
northerly develops. Mind you, this one looks no more than a 36 hour
wonder, unlike in years gone by, with mild air set to hit us again over the
weekend.
