Default Another one bites the dust!

While the so called "cold snap" was always mainly to affect the North of
England and Scotland I'm sure they will survive as will most of the country
south of the Midlands with temperatures of 9C, sunny and no wind now
predicted for Friday and Saturday. This is before the "mild weather" comes
back!
Are we the only people left who knows what "cold" is??
It's all getting a bit tedious really.

Dave I remember my local ponds being frozen for weeks. I hate to concede
......but global warming is taking its toll.

If we ever get what you and I call a cold spell I will drive to Sydenham
(with snow chains of course) and buy you a pint!

Dave,

I am still waiting for any cold air to get this far south west. We've not
had a single day this autumn when the temperature has failed to reach 10
degrees, and the coldest night was a bitter 5.1 degrees! Even tomorrow it
looks like the mild air may still linger in the far SW.

I am waiting for all those people who predicted a cold November to admit
they were wrong. (Still if you constently predict cold weather, sooner or
later you can claim success)

It is distinctly cooler today in St Albans with persistant light rain at a
temperature of 8°C compared to 11°C yesterday. Very little wind now which is
a considerable change from yesterday.
