My school never closed for a single day during the winter of 1962-3, though admittedly the worst of the snow was during the Christmas holidays. In my whole school career, I think there was only one day when snow prevented me from getting to school (and that was in early March one year). Most teachers will do anything they can to get away from the nasty little 2 OT's these days and I can't blame them. I can see a time coming when every class will need three adults present, not the two that is common these days. -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |
