Brussels on Thursday 24 February

Mostly cloudy but quite bright with occasional fleeting glimpses of
sunshine. Fairly heavy snow shower around 15.15 CET which lasted about
half an hour. Roads and pavements wet but other surfaces well covered in a
few minutes. Sky hazy but clearer afterwards. Light S wind at first
backed E to SE in the afternoon. Temperature again around freezing.

Light snow overnight left about 2 cm cover this morning except on paths and
pavements where there was 1 cm or less. Most had thawed by early afternoon
but the covering of snow from the afternoon shower remains this evening on
"soft" surfaces.

Brussels Uccle 1.1°C - overnight minimum -1.1°C - and 2 mm rainfall.
Brussels Airport 0.9°C - overnight minimum -0.8°C - and 1 mm.
