Well it appears to have been snowing throughout the night in SE London at
least. Looking at the radar it seems the M25 area has been blessed by the Snow Goddess. The centre iof the conveyor belt of snow seems to have funneled as staight as an 'arrah' westwards up the thames estuary all night long. Outside of that area theres hardly much going on at all. Rob McElwee's original forecast on News 24 appears to have been 24hrs out of synch Even though it'll probably be gone by lunch time, I'll still class it in my memories as a significant snowfall. This of course is set against the paucity of such events in the last 9 years? I know I'm getting my fill now, as I don't feel the urge to look out of the window evry three minutes, I've got it up 3.5 minutes.....got to go.... have another look. |
