Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do.

Gooooooood moooooooorrrrrrnnning,

Now have an icicle a foot long dangling from an overflow pipe in the soffits.
Still very cold, but a slightly milder morning. Patchy snow cover at home but
still looking white and bleak on the moor above 400m.

0830

Temp -0.1 deg C
Dewpoint -2 deg C
Wind WNW 6 knots
Weather - continuous light snow, getting heavier, and has that look of setting
in for the day, OVC SC
Visibility - poor
Bar 1020.2 hPa - steady

Inside temperature 13.8 d eg C

From a still wintry Haytor in this fantastic bitterly cold spell up on Dartmoor
in the mild SW part of Britain.

Will.

Default [WR] Haytor 26/02/05 (snowing hard)

0900
Snow coming down hard now and verging on moderate. settling rapidly on all
surfaces. Temperature has gone above freezing to 0.3 deg C so I think we have a
warm front coming through. Still who cares it's snowing hard and settling.

Hum, if thats from water dripping from the pipe get it sorted, it
won't be long before the pipe becomes blocked with an ice plug and the
overflow, in time, will happen inside...
