Default [WR] Wirral 27th February 2005

Very light snow showers during the morning which has cleared to leave a
partly cloudy afternoon.
No snow lying here throughout this current cold spell which is not too
surprising considering Wirral's close position to a reasonably warm Irish
sea and shelter from the Pennines.

There was snow cover here this morning, but it's all gone now.
Patchy snow visible on Winter Hill but the Pennines proper
are still very white.

Current temp 2.0C, max so far today 2.2C.
