Default Severe Weather warning

I'm surprised to see no comments on the Severe Weather warning issued
today:

http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/warnings.html

Though the Met Office quite rightly emphasise the degree of uncertainty
(sounds like something has been learnt from last Thursday). it seems
that there's the possibility in the south Midlands and Central Southern
England, and perhaps also in East Anglia and the South-East, of the
worst conditions for quite a few years.

John, I saw it up on the Met O web site earlier - but considered the fact
that it was snowing this morning over quite of the UK with only the usual
reportees on the ng - decided we were all getting a bit snow fatigued - so
didnt mention it!

I didnt even mention the moderate snow (for a while) here at Guildford - or
the fact that it has snowed here for 9 consecutive days - something back at
the beginning of January we would have considered pretty unlikely these
days.

Because whenever we get a warning we don't get much and when we don't
get a warning we get lots!

"Snow fatigued" - I'd never thought I'd hear that any time soon! But,
yes, all this snow is starting to get a bit boring (although quite a few
of my friends keep pestering my for more!).

No stamina, the youth of today. You should have tried living through
1962-3.
