As promised.... M4 OK from J2 to J14, light snow started past J14
(7.30ish) - alternating light/moderate with the odd heavy patch until J18, whereupon it turns lighter again. Swindon traffic reports were stating clear major roads but settling snow on minor routes. |

Just got home after my meeting in Shrivenham - took about 1 and a half hours to get back to about Hammersmith and then another 3 hours to get back to Blackheath... ![]() Thanks very much indeed, cupra, for your report - it made a great difference to my confidence - there was a lot of blowing snow across the M4 round Membury and Swindon, but nothing settled. The way back was dry until London, then just nasty sleet all the - very tedious - way home. Thank heavens I didn't have to get any further east, though... -- Kate B PS 'elvira' is spamtrapped - please reply to 'elviraspam' at cockaigne if you want to reply personally |
