Default Severe conditions on the South Downs!!!!!!!!!!

Just managed to get to the top of the South Downs,where conditions at 750ft
are absoulty atrocious!!. Level Snow about 10 inches or so,with Snow Drifits
nearly up to my waist,visisbility nearly Zero because of
Spin-drift.Amazing!!!

On the downs here just north of Lancing in West Sussex and no sign of snow
anywhere just lots of rain!

Thats really strange local difference, although the Downs at Lancing aren't
quite as high, i walked to the top of the Downs near Ditchling Beacon and i
couudn't believe the Snow,worst i've seen for years!!,Unfortunatly left my
digital cameras at my girlfriends house,blast it!!!!!!!!!!!

I could see Mill Hill north of Shoreham earlier and it looked to have a good
covering, as you say a really local thing without a doubt, not that want any
snow !
