A relatively mild, dry and frost-free month although cooler in the
latter half of the period. Remarkably, an air frost was recorded only on
one day! The easterly and northerly winds from mid-month onwards did not
bring the expected wintry conditions to any marked degree at this
coastal location. The air temperature generally remained well above 0°C
with many days having extended periods of bright sunshine.
