Showers in the North Sea and near the east coast on Friday night.
Widespread and prolonged showers along the east coast on Saturday morning
move inland across northern England by midday. Showers also in the
Midlands and south in the afternoon but most die out during the evening.
Many showers wintry with hail, sleet and snow.
