Bright start but a frost. Less windy than yesterday so could be a good
day.

Old snow lying in gullies above c.700 metres.

At 09:00 :-

Temperature 0.8°C rising from a low of -1.1°C at 06:15.

Dew point -3.2°C

RH 75%

Wind 3 mph, gusting to 8 mph, NNW. Max gust 16 mph, NW, at 01:00.

Barometer 1009.1 mb, steady.

Precipitation since midnight 0.0 mm.

It looks like the last one we will get for a LONG time
Its been wonderful but ohh so shortl the ground has only just got to dry
Mind you trying to tidy up all the plants for the season when they are
frozen in their pots has been less than useful !
They also want watering but its not a good idea with the frost.
BUT
We are REALLY not looking forward to a return to mild wet westerlies
:~(((
