Hi, Gianna,

No frosts in all February or early March?

Hi Ken,

March had been quite mild until a couple of days ago, as was much of
February.
I had one zero in March (6th), and also one zero in February (20th) but
I think it has to be below zero to count as a frost.

Both months seem to have featured a cold spell ... it seemed February
would be warmer than January until week 3 ... March looks a little
confusing at the moment ... mild, now cold, and apparently about to be
rather warm.

You don't need high temps for a tan, I picked one up at 1300 m in Norway
last week and it was around ms 6 all the time.

Nearly got the shorts on today it was so warm (East Yorkshire - dreading
anything over 18)

Interesting forecast on the BBC web site for Peterhead:
Wednesday - Max 14 Min 10
Thursday - Max 13 Min 11

While Met Office suggests:
Wednesday - Max 15 Min 10
Thursday - Max 14 Min 8

If those come true, I shall take great delight in posting a weather

report!

I don't blame you Gianna. I am looking forward to the 18 or 20 that is
expected here on Friday or Saturday :-) Someone has hinted at a 21C even.

Gavin.

21? 21??

Blimey
The years we were in Peterhead -- urrmmm thinks --- around 83 to 86 - it
was definately colder than that
1985-6 [I think] was a cracker I spent the winter commuting every week to
Dundee early in the morning. Most of the time I was in the same traffic
stream as the gritters, snow ploughs etc. Banks of snow along the road were
present for weeks it seemed

Warm -- Peterhead is NEVER warm :~)))
Mintlaw -- that gets warm -- but not Peterheid
:~P
