Contrails appear to be contributing a lot to the cirrus cover. 0900z SW F2 15km 1Sc060 8CiCs250 02.7/-00.1 1013 RMK: Sky covered in a lattice of old, persistent contrails. There was a very bright sun dog to the right of the sun from about 0745z to about 0815z. There was none visible to the left of the sun 24-HR STATISTICS: Max (0900-0900): 6.7 at 1105z Min (0900-0900): -1.8 at 0635z Grass min (1800-0900): -4.6 Rain (0900-0900): Nil Norman.
