Default Keeping an eye on the sea Temperatures...

I'm watching the sea-surface temperatures, as this can influence our
weather.

Silly question... What temperature does water freeze?
I know we've had this discussion recently, but this time I'm talking about
Sea (salty) water.

Secondly, does anybody have an archive of images from the above URL? I
would like to construct another GIF animation to watch the temperatures
change.

I'm going to start collecting these images from today and perhaps upload an
animation when I have collected enough.

regards

Brendan

IIRC sea water with a salinity of 35 parts per thousand freezes at about
-2C.

Also try http://www.osdpd.noaa.gov/PSB/EPS/SST/climo.html. Anomalies are
available from 1983 to date.
