With the exception of the KMA the runs are showing a mild, wet
and windy outlook.

Moderate SW'lies cover the UK as the result of a deep low near Iceland and a
high over Germany. The SW'lies become lighter over England and Wales at
T+144 as a small high forms to the SW, followed by SSW'lies for all at T+168
with a trough to the west.

The UK lies under WSW'lies and SW'lies, with lows to the north, NW and west.
SW'lies continue to affect the UK at T+144 with lows persisting to the north
and NW.

A deep low lies to the north, with high pressure extending from the Azores
to the Alps and beyond. SW'lies and WSW'lies are the result, with 850hPa
temperatures ranging from -2C over NW Scotland to +8C over Norfolk. A
secondry low crosses the UK at T+144, followed by SW'lies from a low west of
Ireland at T+168. The low fills and moves eastwards on day 8, bringing a
brief spell of northerlies before SW'lies return ahead of the next low on
day 9. Day 10 sees low pressure to the north of Scotland with westerlies for
all.

The Canadian run also shows a zonal setup, with strong WSW'lies across the
UK. 850hPa temperatures vary from -2C over northern Scotland to +8C over
Cornwall. A weak ridge crosses the UK, with westerlies and SW'lies as a
result.

Iceland. WSW'lies cover the UK, with 850hPa temperatures from -1C over NW
Scotland to +6C over Cornwall. A trough crosses the UK at T+144 to bring
westerlies and WSW'lies.
