Fog thickened to about 100m visibility around 0800z when the temperature
fell to its minimum. Visibility has been slowly improving during the
past hour. Grass and cars wet. No sign of any frost or ice.

After saying that the Sc looked too thick to disperse readily that's
precisely what it has done! There's now a sky full of stars. No frost
or ice on the grass or cars yet but it won't be long. I expect the fog
will be back very soon if the sky stays clear.
