Cold and wet here. 21mm rain since midnight, currently raining at
3mm/hr. Temp 2.8C, wind F3 ENE. Pressure 1015mb steady.

Possibly - but the highest hill I can see from here is 587m and there's
no snow on that. The Lowthers at 725m plus are hidden behind lower hills
from here, I'd need to go across to the other side of the village, and I
don't fancy that in this weather!
