Default Average rainfall month at last!

Just reached 53.6mm of rain so far this month (20.9mm of which fell in
the last four days) which is 100% of the 1971-2000 average for this
area. This is the first month reaching the average amount of rainfall
since last August here.

Not October? That was certainly wet enough here, about 150%.
Been raining non-stop here in Shrewsbury since about 2200 BST
yesterday, if not earlier Really nasty, gloomy, horrible day.
