uk.sci.weather (UK Weather) (uk.sci.weather) For the discussion of daily weather events, chiefly affecting the UK and adjacent parts of Europe, both past and predicted. The discussion is open to all, but contributions on a practical scientific level are encouraged. |

As I am, presumably, "one of the usual geeks" referred to by an
administrator on TWO I would just say the following:- I enjoy reading your discussions from time to time. I like the enthusiasm you all show for the weather. I find them often funny and the model discussions are usually right up to the minute. I might not agree with some of the science but probably couldn't do much better myself. I haven't joined because I find the style and wit on here more to my taste. But I don't look down or bear any grudge against TWO members and my only concerns are that the belief in the FI models will bring snow will only lead to disappointment. I know the feeling - as one who was 13 in 1963! But one day........... Dave |
