uk.sci.weather (UK Weather) (uk.sci.weather) For the discussion of daily weather events, chiefly affecting the UK and adjacent parts of Europe, both past and predicted. The discussion is open to all, but contributions on a practical scientific level are encouraged. |

The cloud had almost completely cleared by 21.00 yesterday evening and this
has resulted in the coldest night of the season so far ( not much of an achievement!) with a minimum of -1.5c. As I write this, the sky is still cloudfree.(09.50). I still haven't recorded a single morning with fog this year. Peter Clarke Ewell (55m) PS Thanks to all those who responded to my note yesterday about the Balkens High in 1948. I enjoyed all the comments! |
