Some Sc also present.= 0900 NNW F4 25km -RASN 2/CU 6/SC 8/SC T038D010 RMK: The 'snow' element in the RASN is very hit and miss, and you have to be careful not to confuse the blossom blowing off the tree with the genuine sleety elements. A shower of rain/snow mixed and snow pellets at around 0800Z - again hardly significant. The Cu above is Cu fra; the precipitating cloud looks to be the upper Sc (with perhaps something above that). [ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z): screen min: 03.8 grass min: 03.2 precipitation: 0.1 other data: Hard/paved surfaces above zerodegC/dry or drying. The course radar output on the public web sites is overstating the intensity of the PPN for us - never more than the occasional light rain or sleet in the main.]= -- Martin Rowley: data via - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/metindex.htm Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51DEG23MIN30SEC(N): Long: 00DEG46MIN28SEC(W) |
