Hello All,
Could anyone tell me, am I correct in broadly saying that: A single cell thunderstorm with moderate wind shear will create the conditions for a multi-cell thunderstorm to develop? A single cell thunderstorm with strong wind shear will create the conditions for a supercell thunderstorm to develop? When a single cell thunderstorm has developed, but the wind shear increases to very strong will cause the probability of single cell thunderstorms to decrease. -- Joe Wolverhampton 175m asl |
