and southern Scotland and in Wales and SW England. Fairly cloudy over
Belgium but cloud is more broken over the Netherlands.

Wintry showers throughout Thursday night in north and west Ireland and the
northern half of Scotland. An area of showers develops over northern
England during the night and moves SE to reach SE England during Friday
morning. Widespread showers in the afternoon - prolonged in northern
Scotland. Snow on hills and hail, sleet and snow at low levels in many
places as well.
