Outbreaks of rain on Thursday night mainly in the area from SE Scotland to
west Wales. Rain in SE England on Friday morning moves north and then west
during the afternoon with a large rain area extending across SE Scotland,
northern England, the Midlands and much of Wales by late evening. Sleet
and snow on high ground especially later in the evening. Showers with hail
and thunder near the south coast of England in the afternoon.
