I traveled to Mold at around 1400 and there was a lightening & thunder directly overhead as I passed through Northop. On arriving home near Mold it was dry but rain & hail started about 1430. I spoke to a friend in Northop later who said his power was off as a result of the storm. Andy Just spotted this on the BBC site http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot..._2/4451249.stm Football at Wrexham postponed due to waterlogged pitch. Yet 30 miles away in Shrewsbury there's been virtually no rain, just a few spots here and there, and no thunder. Currently clear. Edmund |
