Temperature topped out at 24.4C today at 1525Z, making it the warmest
day since 5th September 2004. Very pleasant day and even got chance to pop down to the Devil's Kneading Trough near Wye to grab some photos of orchids and suchlike. The visibility was a lot better than forecast, so I was able to see at least 20 miles from the Downs. Was also sat outside the Tickled Trout pub in Wye for a while watching the ducks on the river! Popped into the Lab to pick some things up on the way home and for some reason they have turned the heating up to maximum, so it was like a sauna in my office :-/ -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ |
