After seeming to have missed out on most of the thunderstorms over the
past couple of days, I was woken up at about 3:20am by a few rumbles of
thunder and some lightning (about 2 miles away). 2.5mm rain. Not
particularly special, but worthy of a mention.

The storm was here over Herne Bay with heavy rain for some time. Not
sure how long it went on for as I drifted in and out of sleep. The dog
was particularly unhappy!
