A tornado hit about 2/3 miles up the road from me earlier on the Isle of
Wight, just south of cowes in a place called somerton.

Took the roof off a courier firms warehouse.

I work for a company called SP systems, they have many buildings on the isle
of wight, and they have a place next to the building that lost its roof.

A few panels off the building, etc...

I live about 15 miles away from this incident, and my weather only detected
at that time a heavy rain shower at the time (about 11:00 - 11:30) and the
dewpoint, temperature and humidity all fell.

I was outside when this happened, and it got very dark, cold and we had a
heavy rain/hail shower! Didnt think much of it at the time, but when got it,
heard all about it!
