Hi, All,

A couple of TS this afternoon (did you get them, Les?) along with hail and
sleet mixed in. Screen temp down to 3C briefly.
3rd day of thunder this month.

Couple of thunderstorms here as well but not enough to spoil my first
cricket match although 8C and windy not particularly comfortable!
Looks like James takes a mean penalty though! Face facts - someone's got to
replace Shearer eventually. ;-)

Some great showers in and around Alston this afternoon and early evening,
plenty of hail and a brief spell of snow above approx 1800ft as the shower
moved away. Crossfell had a little dusting still present at dusk. just
arrived home now and had to scrape the car clear of ice, the dreaded scraper
still required !!!

( I wished I had been a mascot )- nice one
