Default Summer Scorcher Forecast ?

Our local paper has a full page spread about this coming summers record
breaking temperatures etc. Can someone tell me where the c%&p has come
from?

One things for sure, when it all goes pear shaped it will be the Met
Office who will get the stick.

I think it will be a cool summer, with the odd hot day here and there.
Maybe a prolonged spell of hot weather the last half of august.

Why? Just a hunch. It the vibes! ;-)
