Felly sgrifennodd Brian Wakem :
Konqueror wouldn't display it but it loaded fine in Firefox.

Ah... that was my problem, I was using Konqueror, and not the latest
version either (3.1.0).

Mike's link worked fine though, including the large image it linked to
(thanks Mike).

The 250m resolution image file is only 11Meg.

I tried to download the image using my dial-up connection I wouldn't
have got very far.

It just takes rather longer, should be less than 45 mins on dialup,
just set it going and have your dinner. B-)

Of course some systems fall over when they try to display such a huge
image. My Mozzilla is OK but I have to be carefull if I load it into
PMView and make any changes, but I can load it and then copy a much
smaller section to look at.

It also reminds me of the many snowless winters in Stirling (

Plenty on Ben Venue today... but as you say, none in Stirling.

The Clee Hills really stick out.

Never before has a web page caused me so much grief. This one crashed my X
server. Did anyone else have such problems?
