Up there from about 12.30 to 14.00 GMT. Glorious sunshine made it more
than bearable despite the actual temperature (car thermometer) being
only 2 degrees. Snow lying in the shade down to about 300m, and a
couple of inches even in the sun by the time you got up to the top car
park (a bit over 450m, from memory).

The combination of sun and snow made it a lovely experience, though
(ObMoan) I could have done without the quad bikes, and the leashless
dogs running around on a hillside full of sheep. Even so, it was the
sort of conditions that are really the best side of a snowy winter's
day.
