I can confirm this heavy rainfall as I was nearby to Norman at Gerrards
Cross, South Bucks, hoping to tidy my daughter's garden, but the torrential
downpours kept me indoors. It was good to see that Norman gave his rainfall
figures as I was wondering how much had fallen ,and hoping that the rain had
affected Ewell near Epsom.
Having just returned home, I was dismayed to find that the garden is as dry
as ever, and the total since 0900Z is a miserly 0.9mm.
My total for the month so far stands at 15mm, which is less than Norman
recorded this morning.

.... here in Bracknell, the 4.0mm this morning (09-11Z), then another
4.1mm early this afternoon has brought our monthly total up to 18.9mm,
or a third of the eLTA for this area.
