Good old Jim Bacon checked over his shoulder to check nobody was
watching then preceded to show an Atlantic Isobar animation for the next three days, no fronts, buts it's a start. If you read this Jim, Thanks. Keep the pressure up guys, I think we're getting through 'Houston'. -- Keith (Southend) 'Weather Home & Abroad' http://www.southendweather.net |

Didn't notice my green tinge either ... must have been the angle I was looking at the screen yesterday. Shame ... it looked good! It seems that many of the regional presenters are standing up for themselves. Come to think of it, many of the experienced, common-sense presenters are now to be found on the regions (or on radio!); there are really not all that many left on national TV. Philip Eden |

Philip Eden Is there a 'fear' culture in the BBC ? I get this feeling that everyone close to "Stavros" at Shepards Bush is scared to speak up. I can not believe that the BBC weather presenters are happy with the situation but have been 'gagged' somewhat, I do not blame them at all for this charade. Time for a revolution in this Country I think. -- Keith (Southend) 'Weather Home & Abroad' http://www.southendweather.net |

Carry on the good work! There's a certain family in mid-Norfolk to whom estimation of wind direction & speed is vital, for commuting, leisure & competitive cycling. So... what's it going to be this evening about 5pm - 7pm then?? ;-) Cheers! |
