0900 SW F5 60km - 4/CU T170D101 RMK: Wind ocnl F6 over period of observation. I've called it 'Cumulus', but only just - was OVC SC until ~08Z, then steadily turning more convective with large breaks - patchy/thin Cirrus & Cirrocumulus above. [ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z): screen min: 14.1 grass min: 13.5 precipitation: NIL other data: What a change 12hours makes! A brisk, breezy day now - fine sunshine and much lower humidity. ]= Notes: The basic first-line format is:- [Time/GMT] [Wind direction .. compass points] [Wind speed .. Beaufort force] [Visibility .. metres / (km =10km)] [Visibility .. significant variation/direction] [Weather groups .. if any] [Cloud layers .. amount/type] [Screen temperature/T .. degrees/tenths] [Dewpoint temp/D .. degrees/tenths] -- Martin Rowley: data via - http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/metindex.htm Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51DEG23MIN30SEC(N): Long: 00DEG46MIN28SEC(W) |
