From the web-cam it looks as though its been a very pleasant day here until
15Z. Rain for around 90mins most of it light but with the odd moderate
burst. Skies now mainly clear.

Phil, I like the DA overlays onto the Satellite images. I guess there's
no chance anyone in the BBC would understand them g

Thanks, I would obviously disenfranchise them!

Its a pity, that they cant have a professional weather slot - even late at
night which could give meterological detail to whats going on behind the
graphics. I have to say I have totally given up on the BBC and rely on the
internet now.
