Evening downpour in Brussels
Brussels on Friday 3 June
Sunny spells from mid-morning but extensive areas of high cloud. Cloud slowly thickened from early afternoon. Sky rather threatening early evening. Abrupt and heavy downpour at 19.25 CEST for about 3 minutes - then more or less dry but cloudy. Cloud broke just before dusk. Very warm afternoon but much cooler after the rain. Light S wind veered SW and increased later and veered W after the rain. Brussels Airport 25.7°C - overnight minimum 14.1°C - and 1 mm rain. Brussels Uccle overnight minimum 152.1°C.
