Sent to me by John Williams Jack No shortage of lift that day then... might make you a bit dizzy though ![]() Just over 40 years ago, a chipmunk pilot flew through a funnel cloud "to see what it was like" and the only problem he reported to me was the amount of straw that got in the cabin! This was in August and there were up to five funnel clouds visible at any one time at RAE Bedford. The harvest was under way and the funnel cloud had picked up the straw from these. Graham |
