Not bad actually. Coffee tableish of course.

Normally you have time to nip in the kitchen and make a pot of tea or go
down the pub for a couple of pints and come back to one of their science
programmes and not miss much you can't pick up where you left off.

Give me 'ITV' , 'Five' and all the Sky channels anyday over that other
capitalist, anti-American channel.

What do you mean? Channel 4 hates two continents?

I never noticed.

Mind I only watch the poetry thing in the morning and the comics of
course.

Hey!

They are all American. From the US or A to be exact:

Friends, Raymond, Queen of New York, The Simpsons, Sex and the city,
Will Grace?

Not that I watch them all of course. By the time I have worked out what
the joke was under the canned laughter, Friends has moved on to the next
joke I can't quite get. And of course I am too homophobic for half the
others to appeal to me.
