my wife has days golf next Tuesday, 14th. and requested the usual forecast
from this struggling observer. It seems we have large pool of very cold air over the Midlands., according to weatheronline. Is this unusual for June? Sorry for a rather simple question. -- John Taverner Solihull UK 126m amsl All mail screened by Norton |

No-one else (yet) seems to have noticed how cool it will be next week, especially in the east. Both the UK and GFS models are predicting this. The maximum temperature may struggle to reach 11°C and it looks a bit breezy. This is unusual for June, but is by no means unprecedented. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |
