Whilst nursing a bad back in front of the TV (and very frustrated to
boot) I happened upon the Countryfile forecast. As usual (I think) it went as far as Thursday but there were three brief overlays using isobars-but no fronts. The presenter clearly felt it was necessary to point to a Low. I don't think there was any mention of the High with us at the moment. On that latter subject, Philip Eden's column in the Sunday Telegraph was a good read. Back to sitting trying to write reports with a hot 'water' bottle (useful microwave thing) strapped to my lower back..... Cheers Robin |
