Just had a report of 50mm size hail in Wolaston, near Stourbridge at 1720BST Sunday afternoon. I've put a picture of the hail at http://www.weatherweb.net/largehail.jpg Crikey. Simon I went to my aunt's at Bridgnorth, Shrops today, and the ground was bone dry. She said it went very dark and breezy about 6pm yesterday, but that's all. Looking from the RADAR yesterday the storms just touched the West Midlands, before dying away. Joe Wolverhampton 175m asl |
