Dust storms? I believe these occasionally occur in East Anglia during
dry springs.

Not in the links they don't. It would seem they are a lot more rare than
funnel clouds.

And yet the UK is the only place that has these Mini Tornados :-)

Isn't a Mini Tornado just a small funel cloud that eventually reaches
the ground?

A thunderstorm* that does NOT produce a single comment on
uk.sci.weather.
