Default Penzance - Hottest June day since 1995.

Temperature has just reached 26.8, making it my hottest day of the year, and
the hottest June day since 28.0 in June 1995. Absolutely no sea breeze, in
fact there is still a light off-shore NE, hence the high temp.

All this just 2 days after I replaced my Stevenson Screen. The previous one
I built from a kit 29 years ago, so it didn't do bad, quite sad to see it
go.

That will of course raise everybody's suspicions.

I think you'll find it was the hottest day of the year over most of
Cornwall, nothing really suspicious about it, especially as no sea breeze
developed. The new screen's in the same place at the correct height, it's
just that it's not held together by several layers of paint.

You've just got a suspicious mind!

Graham
